Empallo is a cardiology startup seeking a Clinical Operations Associate to support day-to-day operations across clinical, revenue cycle, and product improvement areas. You will help ensure a smooth patient and provider experience, while collaborating with engineers to automate workflows.

The role offers hybrid work with in-person visits to our Cambridge, MA or Portland, ME offices as needed, and requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and healthcare regulatory knowledge.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a community college, vocational or professional certificate program, or undergraduate program, in a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., certified nursing assistant, medical assistant) are a plus, but not required

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Operations: onb oard and schedule patients.
• Coordinate diagnostics, referrals, results processing, and follow-up care.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to support smooth care delivery.
• Gather actionable feedback from providers and patients to improve and automate operational workflows.
• Research and maintain understanding of applicable healthcare regulations to help ensure compliance across operations.
• Revenue Cycle Management: support eligibility checks, claim submissions, prior authorizations, and follow-ups with payers.
• Assist invoicing.
