Aon is seeking an Actuarial Consultant or Financial Manager for Health Solutions in Houston, TX. You will perform strategy and actuarial consulting, cover benefit design, pricing, budgeting, and client leadership on targeted accounts, including jumbo clients.

Candidates should hold ASA designation and have 4+ years in health care (carrier or consulting), with project management and people mentoring experience.

• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting, including design, pricing and budgeting.
• Provide client leadership on targeted accounts and mentor team members.
• Lead actuarial work on client teams and sign off on results; coordinate with other team members.
• Explain methodologies and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Participate in strategic client discussions and contribute to practice improvements.
