Job summary

GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, is seeking a versatile Project Manager to drive end-to-end execution of IT sourcing and accounts payable e-invoicing projects. You will partner with product owners, coordinate internal and external teams, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule, while advancing AI-enabled initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong business acumen, leadership, and global collaboration with offshore and cross-regional teams. Hybrid work model with in-office days is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college.
• Significant experience in technology and sourcing business processes.
• Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, supplier, and accounts payable systems.
• Fluent English knowledge is essential; relevant experience across full project lifecycles.
• Experience working with offshore teams, including development and/or application support.
• Foundational training and understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
• Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others.
• Experience with global teams and stakeholders across regions.
• Ability to coach and mentor others.
• Customer-focused with ability to design processes with the customer in mind.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Change-oriented mindset with track record of process improvements.
• PMP, ScrumMaster, or other project management certifications preferred.
• Awareness of ITIL or similar IT service management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of technical projects for GE Gas Power IT Sourcing."
• Partner with functional product owners to define feature backlogs and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
• Ensure project management practices are followed and improved as needed.
• Oversee stakeholder communications and regular progress updates.
• Manage risks, scope changes, and interdependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed.
