Job summary

GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, seeks an IT Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of Source-to-Pay applications. You will work with product owners, coordinate internal and external teams, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality.

This hybrid role in Hungary requires a bachelor’s degree, strong experience in technology and sourcing processes, fluent English, and PM certifications (PMP/Scrum Master) preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college.
• Significant experience in technology and sourcing business processes.
• Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, supplier, and accounts payable systems.
• Fluent English knowledge is essential; relevant experience in full project lifecycles.
• Experience working with offshore teams, including development and/or application support.
• Foundational training and understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
• Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others to solve problems.
• Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across regions.
• Ability to coach and mentor others.
• Demonstrated customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
• Change-oriented mindset with experience driving process improvements.
• PM certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster) preferred.
• Awareness of ITIL or similar ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution of technical projects ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality.
• Partner with product owners to define feature backlogs and requirements; collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Ensure project management best practices are followed and drive simplification and continuous improvement.
• Lead governance for Source-to-Pay applications and manage vendor relationships; ensure SOX compliance.
• Execute the S2P technology roadmap, rationalize applications, and drive cost efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across regions; manage risks and interdependencies.
• Track outcomes, value realization, and customer satisfaction with established metrics.
