Job summary

Rolls-Royce, located in Novi, MI, seeks a Commercial Manager for Service Sales in a hybrid role (minimum 2 days onsite). The role covers end-to-end commercial finance across bidding to project execution with active risk management and opportunity tracking in large global projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with 7 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with 5 years of experience
• Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with 3 years of experience
• JD/PhD in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• End-to-end commercial responsibility in projects from the bidding phase to project execution (order-to-cash management) and related service setup; including risk management
• Business partner for large global projects (e.g. hyperscale projects) handling all commercial tasks
• Conduct project reviews and prepare progress reports for stakeholders
• Identify, track and manage commercial risks and opportunities with the project team and update risk management plans
• Optimize orders in terms of results, changes, and receivables management
• Participate in creation of framework contracts and sales agreements with customers with the project team
• Collaborate across the company to provide comprehensive commercial support and monitor cost development and cash flow
• Prepare minutes of project meetings and follow-up, with regular project cost reviews to ensure budget compliance
• Maintain project objectives by monitoring actual progress
