Job summary

Primary Services is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to manage day-to-day sales activities and customer relationships for our global industrial trading office. • 2+ years in inside sales or related customer-facing roles.
• Experience preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Experience with industrial distribution or related materials preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and inventory systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Spanish or Japanese language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotations, sales proposals, and pricing information for industrial products.
• Manage customer inquiries involving product availability, pricing, order requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Process sales orders and coordinate purchasing and fulfillment activities with suppliers.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Communicate with domestic and international suppliers to obtain pricing, product specifications, and delivery information.
• Assist with pricing negotiations and evaluate supplier costs to maintain competitive offerings.
• Track open quotations, customer orders, and sales opportunities to ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate customer-specific inventory requirements and product availability.
• Research competitor pricing, market trends, and product information to support sales decisions.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales documentation, and order information.
