Job summary

Fragomen seeks a Business Immigration Consultant to join our Los Angeles office. You will perform substantive client-facing work, manage case prep and filings, and use case management tools to track progress while advising clients on strategy and solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in business immigration, strong written/verbal communication, and a solid command of nonimmigrant/immigrant visa procedures. Collaboration, accuracy, and timely SLAs are essential in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field, or paralegal certification, or client-service experience.
• At least 4 years of business immigration experience (paralegal).
• Strong knowledge of nonimmigrant/immigrant visa procedures and client processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proofreading without AI.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform case preparation and filing with government agencies; document gathering/review, case drafting.
• Oversee case status using case management and billing systems; generate reports.
• Interact with clients for intake, case strategy, and issue resolution.
• Draft clear written work applying immigration knowledge and problem-solving.
• Communicate case progress and escalate as needed to supervisor.
