Fragomen’s Business Immigration Consultant position will provide you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business, as well as offer training, development, and long‑term growth opportunities. You will perform substantive client‑facing work, handle case preparation and filings, and collaborate with clients to strategize immigration solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, plus a minimum of 4 years of business immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel.
• Desire to contribute to positive work environment and promote teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Perform substantive and client-facing work beyond typical paralegal tasks in employment-based immigration.
• Independently handle tasks related to case prep and filing petitions with government agencies.
• Oversee case status via case management and billing systems; run reports as needed.
• Work with clients to intake cases, troubleshoot issues, and establish case strategy.
• Generate clear, well-organized written work demonstrating immigration knowledge and problem-solving.
• Communicate case status and inquiries clearly to clients and foreign nationals.
• Meet deadlines per SLAs and escalate progress to supervisor.
• Assist in hiring/training new team members and identify productivity improvements.
• Monitor policy changes and adapt processes accordingly.
• Be fluent with reporting tools and contribute to productivity goals.
• Follow firm standards to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
