Job summary

Verizon is seeking a highly autonomous Contract Strategy & Automation professional to lead advanced contracting initiatives in the Wireline space. You will define strategies, maintain GCT capabilities, and collaborate with Legal, IT, and Sales to drive compliant, efficient contracting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
• Experience with Global Contracting Tool (GCT) and contracting practices.
• Knowledge of Current Platform quote to order flow and related systems, Wireline contracting document compilation and business rules, and the Agile SDLC.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to drive process automation and efficiency.
• Strong collaboration across Legal, Sales, IT, Product Marketing, Financial Operations to achieve goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex contracting strategies and business requirements for GCT.
• Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, secure stakeholder alignment, drive iteration and test scenario planning.
• Advise Legal on contracting processes, GCT capabilities, template updates, and user stories for compliance.
• Maintain complex business rules in GCT language templates and establish test plans across multiple variables.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Provide 2nd-level support to testing, language review, production support, and IT teams.
• Deliver strategic guidance to the TOSA Center of Excellence, Legal, Sales, and Support on Customer Legal Entity name and ownership changes.
• Define and establish new end-to-end contracting processes when no existing framework exists.
• Develop, update, and maintain job aids and training resources for Sales and Legal users.
• Implement configurable changes within GCT to support new product introductions and platform enhancements.
• Serve as the business trustee for GCT user role changes to maintain compliance.
