Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Contract Manager to support its Global Strategic Sourcing Group. The role focuses on negotiating and managing commercial contracts for network, IT, software, and related services, with significant stakeholder collaboration across business, legal, and audit teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of work experience.
6+ years of relevant contract/sourcing experience.
4+ years in contract management or sourcing.
Experience drafting contracts and terms.
Willingness to travel up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

Review supplier changes to terms, assess risk, and advise Verizon.
Lead drafting and negotiation of terms and conditions.
Ensure flow-down terms are included in contracts.
Coordinate with Category Sourcing Experts, business partners and legal.
Work with Verizon Legal to negotiate issue resolutions.
Prepare contract templates for RFPs and audits.
Resolve supplier contract issues and questions.
Advise senior management on escalations and risks.
Maintain compliance with FCC CPNI rules and related procedures.
Serve as SME for the Contract Digitization tool and reporting.
