Job summary

CNA is seeking an individual contributor in Plano, TX to manage commercial claims of low to moderate complexity within General Liability. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while upholding quality and timeliness, and communicating with insureds and partners.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with 2 days in a CNA office per week. Responsibilities include verifying coverage, reserving, disbursement within limits, and collaborating with internal and external resources

Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable.
• Prior claim handling, or business experience in the insurance industry and/or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage low to moderate complexity commercial claims by following company protocols.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while meeting quality and timeliness standards.
• Verify coverage, establish reserves, and authorize disbursements within authority limits.
• Communicate updates to insureds, claimants and business partners.
• Identify subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud for further review.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to achieve favorable outcomes.
