• Ability to obtain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire where applicable.
• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.
• Experience with CNA claim handling programs may be considered after 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of moderate to high complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Provides excellent customer service with insureds, claimants and partners.
• Verifies coverage, establishes reserves, and determines liability per policy language.
• Gathers information from customers, witnesses and experts to verify facts.
• Maintains working relationships with internal and external partners to resolve claims.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority and negotiates settlements when appropriate.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities or potential fraud for referrals.
• Ensures compliance with state/local regulatory requirements.
