Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an individual contributor to manage commercial claims of low to moderate complexity within the General Liability line. The role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims in line with company protocols, with regular communication to insureds and business partners.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days in a CNA office per week, and requires a valid Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have or obtain Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or insurance/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages low to moderate complexity commercial claims following policy and company protocols.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims meeting quality, timeliness, and service standards.
• Maintains communication with insureds, claimants and partners with timely updates.
• Verifies coverage, reserves and liability with claim handling procedures.
• Collaborates with internal/external resources to achieve best claim outcomes.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and escalates when needed.
• Identifies subrogation/salvage opportunities and potential fraud for referrals.
• Complies with state/local regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
