Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or insurance/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages low to moderate complexity commercial claims per company protocols.
• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims to meet quality and timeliness standards.
• Maintains regular communication with insureds and claimants with timely updates.
• Verifies coverage, estimates reserves, and determines liability and compensability.
• Collaborates with internal/external partners to facilitate best claim outcomes.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority and documents actions taken.
• Identifies subrogation, salvage opportunities, or potential fraud for further investigation.
• Ensures compliance with state/local insurance regulations and trends.
