Job summary

The CNA Insurance claims team in New Jersey seeks an individual contributor to manage commercial claims of low to moderate complexity within the General Liability line. You will investigate, evaluate and resolve claims while maintaining quality service and timely communication with insureds.

The role requires collaboration with partners, adherence to company protocols, and ongoing learning to expand coverage understanding. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in an office per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial claims of low to moderate complexity and exposure.
• Investigate, evaluate and resolve claims per company protocols.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants and partners to provide updates.
• Verify coverage and establish reserves; determine liability and settlement needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure timely disbursements within authority limits and documentation.
