Job summary

CNA Insurance in Plano, TX is seeking an individual contributor to manage commercial claims of low to moderate complexity within the General Liability line. The role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims in line with company protocols while maintaining quality, timeliness, and customer service standards.

This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office per week, requiring strong communication, judgment, and collaboration with insureds and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must obtain/maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Interacts with insureds, claimants and partners to maintain quality and timely updates.
• Verifies coverage and estimates reserves per policy language and claim handling protocols.
• Conducts investigations and gathers information to determine liability and compensability.
• Collaborates with internal/external partners to achieve best claim outcomes.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority and escalates as needed.
• Identifies subrogation/fraud opportunities and refers for further action.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and proper documentation on every file.
