Earle M. Jorgensen Company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned locations and functions in the Houston area.

The role partners with hiring managers to attract, identify, and hire qualified talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience and consistent recruitment processes. The position supports organizational staffing needs through sourcing, candidate assessment, recruitment administration, candidate outreach, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in recruiting or a related field.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system and online recruiting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with candidates, managers and HR.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities from approval to accepted offer according to procedures.
• Source qualified candidates via approved platforms, referrals, internal pools and networking.
• Support employer branding and recruitment material distribution.
• Support hiring events and job fairs to build applicant pools.
• Create, post and maintain requisitions in ATS and other platforms.
• Ensure timely communication and professionalism for a positive candidate experience.
• Coordinate interviews and gather feedback between candidates and managers.
• Facilitate offer-related activity and onboarding handoff.
