DoorDash, Inc. is hiring an Account Executive, Field Sales for the New Verticals team in New York, NY. This hybrid role blends inside sales (about 70%) with targeted field selling (about 30%) to sign local and regional SMBs onto DoorDash.

You will manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to close—driving deals in a fast-paced environment, with some travel for in-person merchant meetings and trainings as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a high-volume inside sales environment.
• Experience in SMB sales and closing deals.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Curious about local businesses and technology; customer-focused and persistent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle and close partnerships with local and regional SMBs.
• Prospect and engage merchants through high-volume outreach (80+ calls/emails daily).
• Travel to meet merchants in person up to 30% of the time when needed.
• Collaborate with internal tools and teams to drive deals forward.
