Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Remediation Intern to support field activities and project teams on world-class environmental projects. You will work from approved Jacobs locations and assist a team of professionals to deliver services on time and within budget.

During the internship you will plan field activities, perform soil and groundwater sampling, maintain remediation systems, and prepare scopes of work for subcontracts while analyzing field and lab data.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related field.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to perform field work and travel.
• United States Citizenship.
• Driver's License Required.
• Ability to work from one of the approved Jacobs locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget.
• Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets.
