The role provides hands-on field experience, data analysis, and technical report writing while collaborating with project managers, scientists, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related field.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to perform field work and travel.
• United States Citizenship.
• Driver's License Required.
• Ability to work from one of the approved Jacobs locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget.
• Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts; conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets; create technical reports documenting activities and results.
