Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Environmental Remediation Intern to assist a multidisciplinary team on critical environmental projects. Youll support field activities, collect soil and groundwater samples, and help maintain remediation systems, while contributing to data analysis and technical reporting.

This role is based out of an approved Jacobs location with potential travel. The internship expects a strong willingness to work in the field ~85% of time, coupled with collaboration across geologists,

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Willingness to perform field work and travel.
United States Citizenship.
Driver's License Required.
Ability to work from one of the approved Jacobs locations.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling and remediation system maintenance.
Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets.
Create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.
Travel percentage: ~85% field work with some out-of-town travel; collaborate with project managers, scientists and engineers.
