Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Remediation Intern to assist project teams in delivering environmental services. You will participate in field activities such as soil and groundwater sampling and remediation system maintenance, under supervision of experienced staff.

You’ll prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, analyze data, and produce technical reports. Expect ~85% field time with travel, and hybrid work between Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related field.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Willingness to perform field work and travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in delivering environmental services on time and within budget.
• Plan and execute field activities including soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and conduct data analysis on field and lab data.
• Create technical reports documenting activities and results.
• Travel about 85% of time; work with colleagues in approved Jacobs locations.
