Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Hybrid Facility Service Coordinator for our Chicago, IL team. This role combines front‑line client interaction with backend facilities support in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage visitor access, room bookings, mail distribution, and work orders while coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth building operations. The position emphasizes strong customer service and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service center environment.
• Understanding of customer service principles.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet usage.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and take a flexible/innovative approach.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet clients and visitors.
• Answer phone queries and manage requests and room bookings as part of the virtual service center.
• Assist the site management team and act as conduit for client requests.
• Assist with visitor/contractor escorts and supervising as required.
• Manage mail and courier deliveries and distribution lists.
• Support room configurations and catering provisions.
• Handle invoicing receipting and reconciliation and data entry.
• Maintain records and manage Work Orders.
