Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Manager, Program Cost Controls to lead Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and compliance. The role partners with program managers, CAMs, and finance to mature EVM processes across programs.

The position requires 8+ years of EVMS experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train teams in compliant EVM practices; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of EVMS, program controls, and cost/schedule integration.
• Experience with EVMS reporting and data descriptions (IMS/IPMR/IPMDAR).
• Ability to obtain a US Secret clearance after start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead EVM implementation and ensure program compliance.
• Prepare teams for EVM events (IBR, surveillance, etc.).
• Provide feedback to teams with compliant implementation options.
• Collaborate with RTX EVM Team for consistency.
• Review RFP/RFQ for EVM requirements and advise revisions.
• Train frontline leaders on compliant EVM processes.
• Contribute to team training events and EVM forums.
