Job summary

Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Events & Program Coordinator to plan and execute virtual, hybrid, and in-person professional education events. The role emphasizes technical execution, real-time problem solving, and strong customer service to learners and instructors.

You will manage registration, CE credits, scheduling, and post-event tasks, including transcripts and certifications, with occasional evening or weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service, event coordination, higher education support, or administrative operations.
• Experience supporting virtual and/or in-person programs, including event coordination, participant communications, registration processes, or learning platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM, learning management, or event management systems (e.g., Enrole, Academy of Mine), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact across systems for learners, instructors, and partners for registration, CE credits, program details, and general support, providing high-quality customer service.
• Resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues, utilizing independent problem solving and resources provided.
• Provide real-time support during events, including registration tables, attendance tracking and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Assist with planning and event logistics including scheduling, room reservations, space coordination, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain accurate program listings and event setup within systems.
• Assist with internal event request processes, forms, and workflow tracking.
• Support enrollment workflows, data entry, and basic reporting across systems.
• Assist with credentialing-related tasks such as documentation, board applications, and course renewals as assigned.
• Participate in shared team coverage for evening, weekend, and high-volume events. Flexibility in scheduling is provided to accommodate these responsibilities while maintaining a 40-hour work week.
