Job summary
The Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship in Buffalo seeks a Media & Event Technology Specialist to deliver hands-on audiovisual, media, and event tech support for the Buffalo campus.
You will operate and maintain networked AV systems, Crestron control, Q-SIS audio, LED video displays, and lighting for live and hybrid events, collaborating with campus partners and external clients from planning through breakdown.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred: Associate degree in audiovisual technology, media production, broadcast technology, information technology, or related field.
- Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot Buffalo AV and production systems, including networked AV and lighting.
- Plan, set up, operate, and support audiovisual and production needs for Institute events and external bookings.
- Coordinate with the AV integration partner and Manager of Media & Event Technology for upgrades and issue resolution.
- Capture and produce Buffalo-based programming and support recording, streaming, and other media needs.
- Provide first-line technology support for faculty, staff, students, presenters, and campus partners.
