Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an AV Support Specialist to deliver client-facing audiovisual and technical support for a range of events in New York City. The role covers in-person, hybrid, and virtual experiences, with responsibilities from planning to post-event follow-up.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of AV experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with conferencing technology, POS systems, and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in audiovisual technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience supporting audiovisual systems or live events.
• Experience with Active Directory and POS systems, preferably Oracle MICROS.
• Experience with multimedia equipment: cameras, mixers, video switchers, conferencing gear.
• Crestron certification and Biamp/Tesira certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess event requirements and determine suitable AV systems.
• Attend event-planning meetings to review timelines and technical needs.
• Set up, test, operate, and break down AV equipment on schedule.
• Support on-site and hybrid events including streaming and video routing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AV software, hardware, and videoconferencing issues.
• Maintain current event specifications and documentation.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 POS support and escalate when needed.
