Job summary

GHD is seeking Environmental Interns to join our environmental team for the upcoming summer. You will work with project managers, engineers, geologists, and technicians to support environmental engineering solutions and project goals across air quality, remediation, and safety disciplines.

The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days a week, potential field exposure, and training in soil and groundwater sampling and remediation system operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology/Hydrogeology or related field.
• Ability to learn on the job and apply theory practically.
• Strong motivation and thirst for knowledge.
• Proactive and ready to assist staff on tasks big or small.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and staff with report writing and data management.
• Assist with field equipment maintenance and operations for remediation projects.
• Possibly engage in soil and groundwater sampling under supervision.
• Gain exposure to field work and training opportunities.
