Job summary

GHD is seeking Environmental Interns for this upcoming summer in Syracuse, NY. You will support project managers, engineers, geologists and environmental scientists to coordinate and implement environmental engineering solutions across air quality, remediation, health & safety, and more.

The role includes report writing, data management, and field equipment maintenance with potential field experience, including soil and groundwater sampling and remediation system operations.

Qualifications

• Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.
• Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting
• Strong sense of motivation and a thirst for knowledge
• Takes the initiative to identify ways to assist staff and be ready to help with any task big or small

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for Environmental Interns to join our team this upcoming summer! As an Intern, you'll work closely with and in support of project managers, professional engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and skilled technicians/technologists to coordinate and implement a wide variety of environmental engineering solutions and project goals (i.e. air quality, solid waste, remediation, health & safety, etc.).

Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 based on experience and location.
