Job summary

GHD is seeking Environmental Interns for this upcoming summer in Syracuse, NY. You will support project managers, engineers, geologists and environmental scientists to coordinate and implement environmental engineering solutions across air quality, remediation, health & safety, and more.

The role includes report writing, data management, and field equipment maintenance with potential field experience, including soil and groundwater sampling and remediation system operations.

Qualifications

• Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.
• Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting
• Strong sense of motivation and a thirst for knowledge
• Takes the initiative to identify ways to assist staff and be ready to help with any task big or small

Responsibilities

• You will work on report writing, data management, and field equipment maintenance.
• This role may also provide you with field experience.
• You may receive training in soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation and overall operations and maintenance for remediation systems.
