Job summary

We are seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join Sargent & Lundy for Summer 2027. You will apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and design to oil and gas facilities, creating calculations, documents, and specifications.

Under the Structural Lead, you will guide designers and coordinate detailed design phases, tackle challenging structural issues, and perform support calculations and reviews. Hybrid schedule requires in-office work 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering required (Master's preferred).
• Experience with steel structures and concrete foundations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create calculations, designs, and specifications.
• Conduct structural analyses including wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization.
• Guide designers in structural engineering design phases.
• Travel to client/vendor offices for reviews and site coordination.
