Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer in Colorado for Summer 2027. You will apply knowledge of materials and structural analysis to oil and gas facilities, create calculations, and develop designs under a Structural Lead.

The role involves travel to client/vendor sites for reviews and field verification, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office work 3 days per week. Ideal candidates will hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (Master's preferred), be proficient with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Focus on analysis of steel structures and concrete foundations and supports for new or existing facilities.
• Experience writing support documentation for structural calculations.
• Practical knowledge of analysis for loads and design integrity.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create calculations, document designs and specifications.
• Conduct structural analyses including wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization.
• Guide designers in structural engineering design efforts and coordinate detailed design phases.
• Develop integrated structural designs and supporting calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications for structural materials.
• Review existing facilities to propose upgrades or replacements and present findings to clients.
