Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required with strong background; Master's preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in structural design engineering.
• 1+ years related experience in analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of loads analysis for structural supports and design integrity.
• Familiarity with producing technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Experience writing and supporting documentation for Structural Engineering calculations.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, and design to power and industrial projects.
• Create calculations and prepare technical specifications and design documents.
• Conduct structural analyses including wind, seismic, and pressurization conditions.
• Design steel frames, connections, concrete members, and supports; coordinate foundations and equipment supports.
• Travel to client/vendor sites for design reviews and field verification as needed.
