Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to guide new applicants through the enrollment process, assisting with registration and lead conversion. The role requires CRM proficiency, strong communication, and collaboration across admissions, financial aid, and bursar functions.

The position is hybrid and focuses on supporting student success, managing caseloads, and improving enrollment outcomes with teamwork and data-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification with 3-4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience.
• Experience in higher education, student services, or related fields preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for applicants needing walk-in and virtual assistance regarding college admissions.
• Provide counseling and guidance to students through the registration process and assist with tools such as Degree Tracker and Schedule Builder.
• Manage and monitor a caseload of leads and opportunities to maximize applicant conversion.
• Track case notes and maintain accurate records in the electronic student record system.
• Participate in campus events like enrollment events, recruitment fairs, and high school visits.
• Assist with FAFSA inquiries, financial aid questions, and referrals to Financial Aid Office.
• Answer tuition, accounts, and bursar-related inquiries and refer complex questions to Business Office.
• Resolve routine student transactional needs and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Collaborate with director of admissions/recruitment and VCES to promote events and initiatives.
• Assist in marketing student events using Signal Vine, email, and telephone counseling.
