Job summary

The Health Informatics Trainer at Community Health Center of Snohomish County will develop competency-based education programs for staff, focusing on software that supports medical and dental EHRs. Responsibilities include curriculum creation, training delivery in classroom, online, or one-to-one settings, and ongoing evaluation of course outcomes.

The role requires experience with EHR workflows, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Reads, speaks, understands and writes proficiently in English.
• Public speaking: one-on-one or in group settings.
• Knowledge of adult education principles and group facilitation.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develops competency-based education programs including materials, curriculum and training schedules.
• Conducts needs analyses and uses data to improve training effectiveness.
• Provides on-going support and coaching, including on-the-job training.
• Collaborates with IS department for Help Desk issues and software utilization.
