Job summary

Buffalo Toronto Public Media is seeking a part-time Community & Donor Support Associate to serve members and donors with courteous service across channels. The role includes gift processing, data entry, and CRM maintenance, plus assisting with on-air fundraising campaigns.

The position can be hybrid—blending remote and in-office work—and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling donor information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training preferred
• Nonprofit experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle donor data with confidentiality
• Familiarity with CRM and pledge processing is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate service to members, donors, and community via phone, email, and other channels
• Process and reconcile daily gift transactions and maintain donor data
• Assist with on-air fundraising campaigns and pledge drives
• Load break codes, prepare tally sheets, and monitor pledges during campaigns
• Support follow up questions and donor inquiries about pledges and donations
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information and mask sensitive data when needed
