Sargent & Lundy seeks an engineer to join the project team, preparing sketches, analyses, and designs for electric utility distribution up to 34 kV. You will develop BOMs, cost estimates, and permit drawings while collaborating with engineers and designers.

The role supports complex tasks, modifications, and as-builts, with a three-day-in-office, two-day-remote hybrid work arrangement and potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in electric utility distribution or related work.
• Familiar with distribution design methods and codes (NESC/NEC/IEEE).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and PoleForeman.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sketches and details for overhead/underground networks (4 KV–34 KV).
• Analyze and design priority feeds; support maintenance and recapitalization.
• Develop work packages and provide as-builts at project completion.
