Job summary
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer Specialist to join our hybrid Raleigh, NC team. The role focuses on real‑time DSP control design for UPS and energy storage products, with relocation assistance and visa transfer sponsorship as applicable.
Hybrid on-site/remote work is allowed within 50 miles of the Raleigh facility; candidates outside may relocate or commute as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with extensive real‑time digital controls experience.
- MS in Electrical Engineering with significant industry experience in real‑time controls.
- PhD with experience in real‑time digital controls for power electronics.
- H1B sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting requirements and Eaton standards.
- Provide guidance and leadership to technical project teams.
- Develop DSP control algorithms and validate designs through simulations and real‑time tests.
- Collaborate with global product teams on performance, safety and reliability.
