Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer Specialist in a hybrid Raleigh, NC area role. You will design real-time DSP algorithms for high-power UPS and energy storage products, with on-site work three days weekly and relocation assistance available.

Qualified candidates bring 8+ years in real-time digital controls for power electronics, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and experience with C/C++ coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years real-time digital controls/algorithms for power electronics or industrial products.
• MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years real-time controls experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years real-time controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and Eaton commitments.
• Provide guidance and leadership to technical project teams.
• Collaborate with global product teams to optimize performance, safety, reliability and cost.
