Job summary

Responsibilities

Define and deliver next-generation manufacturing processes for future-model vehicle programs.
Support stamping die design and tooling for core sheet metal panels.
Conduct early stamping process feasibility studies in an integrated CAD/CAE environment.
Lead the creation of draw die CAD developments and construction release files for new model stampings.
Update and maintain existing stamping die process information.
Develop stamping die processes for new model parts, optimized for cost and quality, while meeting timing objectives.
Perform simulations of stamping processes for formability evaluation and optimize through draw and line die simulations.
Provide feedback to product design to address stamping concerns during launches.
Support die design and tooling construction problem resolution.
Domestic travel required up to 10%.
