Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is a global technology and manufacturing leader seeking a Sr. Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing Development Team.

The role focuses on stamping, molding, and assembly optimization, with hands-on responsibility for sample builds, design verification, and qualification samples. The position requires 5+ years in manufacturing or stamping/die engineering, strong 2D/3D modeling (Creo), and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience with machine and equipment design and manufacturing deployment.
• Proficient in 2-D and 3-D modeling; Creo preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Knowledge in statistical software such as Minitab preferred.
• Sound project management skills and lean/six sigma knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• New process development, including process documentation and qualification.
• Collaborate with Product Development Engineering to meet cost objectives.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
• Support project quoting and location decisions to improve margin.
• Lead FMEA reviews and analyze process/equipment capability.
• Drive data-driven process optimization and supplier coordination.
• Support sustaining manufacturing and capital equipment projects.
