Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to deliver high-volume stator manufacturing systems for Powertrain eMotors. You will lead the specification, procurement, design, build, runoff, install and launch of equipment at Ford plants, driving manufacturability and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Strategy, Delivery, Product Development, Purchasing, Facilities and Operations, travelling up to 80% during peak programs, and operate in a hybrid onsite environment four days per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial preferred).
• 5+ years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment, preferably with Stators.

Responsibilities

• Lead specification, procurement, design, build, runoff, install, and launch of high-volume stator manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and implement strategic priorities.
• Evaluate feasibility of designs using virtual tools and cost budgeting.
• Create and maintain process matrices, PFMEAs, DPcs, EVPs, and related documentation.
• Line-up suppliers and manage purchase actions with Purchasing.
