Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services in Washington is seeking an Intake and Eligibility Case Resource Manager. You will provide advanced social services and manage cases and resources for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Travel within the region for assessments and meetings with clients and partners is required. The role includes handling eligibility for services, coordinating with DDA, and ensuring timelines and compliance with WAC and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or allied field with two years of relevant social services experience.
• Six years of experience providing social services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Graduate training substituting for one year of experience in social services.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake and eligibility within 90 days per guidelines.
• Explain DDA services to clients to submit service requests.
• Identify support needs of clients and families.
• Testify at administrative hearings as needed.
• Identify crises and make emergent referrals.
• Complete eligibility reviews per policy.
• Participate in intake/eligibility staffing.
• Collaborate with other agencies to complete intake/eligibility processes.
