Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) invites applications for the Developmental Disabilities Case/Resource Manager role in Region 1. You will help administer Health-Related Social Needs services and supports in collaboration with the Health Care Authority and community partners.

The position requires in-office start with hybrid scheduling, travel within the region for assessments and meetings, and a 6-month probationary period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or allied field is required.
• Experience in social services for people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Graduate training can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and financial HRSN assessments to determine care level and eligibility.
• Ensure assessments meet quality standards and timelines in CARE.
• Create initial client assessments and person-centered service plans.
• Identify client needs and authorize payment for services.
• Arrange translation/interpretation as needed.
• Refer clients to appropriate DDCS services and community resources.
• Make emergent referrals for crises or safety concerns.
