Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Case/Resource Manager to provide advanced social services and case/resource management for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. You will determine eligibility for developmental services and help clients access DDA or local community resources.

Roles include conducting intake and eligibility within required timelines, coordinating with teams, and traveling regionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, social services, human services or an allied field and two years of experience providing social services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Or six years of experience in providing social services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Or 12 months as a Case Resource Manager Trainee or equivalent experience/education.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake and eligibility processing within a 90-day timeline per WAC and DDA guidelines.
• Explain services to clients to submit service requests for DDA support.
• Identify client needs and link to regional services and community resources.
• Travel within the region for in-person assessments and meetings.
• Collaborate with agencies and professionals to finish intake and eligibility reviews.
