Job summary

Congregation Rodeph Sholom in New York City is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship. You will manage donor records in Salesforce, coordinate events, and collaborate with clergy and departments to further CRS’s philanthropic programs.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. A hybrid work schedule is available with occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three to five years of professional experience in development, nonprofit administration, advancement services, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience working with CRM/database systems; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams required; familiarity with Monday.com and Concur is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Jewish calendar, holidays, customs, and lifecycle events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship.
• Manage Development data integrity and Salesforce records.
• Coordinate departmental meetings, events, and administrative workflows.
• Prepare reports and fundraising analytics for leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate with clergy and departments to execute fundraising campaigns.
