Sound Credit Union is seeking a Loss Management Representative to join our team in Washington. This role focuses on delinquent member accounts, negotiation of payment arrangements, and accurate documentation of collection activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a financial institution.
• Account collection experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Contact members through various channels to resolve delinquent accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and document collection efforts while preparing regular activity reports.
• Manage charged-off loan recovery processes, recommend charge-offs and legal actions, and handle bankruptcy accounts, including monitoring and reviewing assigned cases.
• Administer insurance follow-ups, respond to credit bureau disputes, and ensure high member satisfaction.
