Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a data governance specialist to implement and support governance processes using AI and BI tools. You will drive metadata management, data lineage, and data quality across business and technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with Data Domain Owners and SMEs to define CDEs, glossary terms, and data sources. Build end-to-end data lineage and data flow diagrams, and create Tableau dashboards to monitor data health while leveraging AI to accelerate tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, computer science or related field.
• Proficient with Python and SQL for data handling and analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with Generative AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT).
• Understanding of data governance concepts or tools like Collibra.

Responsibilities

• Implement data governance processes leveraging AI technologies.
• Develop metadata management, data lineage, and data quality capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Domain Owners and SMEs to define CDEs and business glossary terms.
• Create data flow diagrams and field-level data mappings across systems.
• Build data quality rules and dashboards to monitor data health.
• Identify data sources and document data paths; communicate with cross-functional teams.
