Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a seasoned project controls professional to lead cost tracking, forecasting and risk management for large-scale programs across data centers and critical infrastructure. You will review contracts, identify budget gaps, and deliver concise updates to project teams and leadership, with travel to data center sites as needed and a mix of remote and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction project controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cost tracking, change orders, and risk fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Earned Value or resource-based data.
• Background in data center, manufacturing, or complex commissioning projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, invoice checks, accruals and risk identification.
• Standardize cost, schedule and risk tracking processes.
• Prepare concise financial and risk updates for project teams and leadership.
• Review contractor agreements, flag budget gaps, highlight early risks during preconstruction.
• Coordinate with scheduling and delivery teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Support variance reports, cash-flow forecasts and leadership reviews.
• Link cost and schedule data for integrated project reporting.
• Deliver accurate outputs under senior guidance and travel to sites as needed.
• Flexible: mix of remote, onsite client work or Accenture office.
