Mediacom Communications Corporation is seeking a Customer Sales & Service Representative I in Illinois. The role starts on-site for training, then shifts to a 3 weeks work from home / 1 week on-site hybrid schedule. You will handle calls to sell services, resolve billing issues, and schedule installations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer-facing roles, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across platforms. High school diploma required; 2-year degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer-facing experience required.
• Inbound call center experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by telephone, email, mail or fax.
• Answer inquiries and solve billing, service or product issues.
• Assess customer needs to present Mediacom products and services.
• Process requests to add or disconnect services using guidelines.
• Maintain or exceed sales, quality and productivity standards.
• Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations.
• Troubleshoot basic service issues and schedule on-site visits.
• Receive and process customer payments.
